June Shin Weppler

June is a graduate of Seattle University School of Law in 2000 and University of Washington School of Law in 2003, receiving J.D. and LL.M in Tax respectively. She was admitted to practice in Washington State in 2000.

She began her legal career in the tax department of a large accounting firm in Seattle. It didn’t take a lot of time for her to realize that she liked client interactions far more than numbers. In her early career, she served business owners in matters involving tax, real estate, construction, and estate planning in Olympia. Over time, as she matured as a person and mother, she became more focused to helping individuals and families on issues involving more human elements. Her practice currently is focused on (collaborative) family law, elder law, estate planning, and probate.

June is a firm believer in collaborative approach in resolving family law issues. As a trained collaborative divorce attorney, she is able to offer collaborative divorce as an alternative to traditional litigation. She is a member of the Washington State Bar (family law section), the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals (IACP), Collaborative Professionals of Washington, and Pierce County Collaborative Law.

Additionally her practice includes Estate Planning, Probate and Trust Administration, and an wide range of Elder Law matters. She is a member of National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and active in the senior community in Olympia.

As a proud wife of a retired soldier, her heart goes out to the active and retired members of the military and their families. she knows first hand their great sacrifices and unique challenges. As a native of South Korea, she speaks fluent Korean and is able to provide legal services in Korean. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, music concerts (especially her children’s), and volunteering at Thurston County Volunteer Legal Services.
